The Chuffinches are made up of Paul "Captain Correlli" Nicholls, Vocals, Mandolin Trumpet & Percussion Steve Farrell, Vocals, Fiddle, Mandolin & Tin Whistle Mark Bleay, Guitar Peter Mckernon, banjo. They come together to create a full fantastic sound. Many types of music influence this band that always go down well at the Lord Nelson.

There influences are hard to list as they are many. Between them they like American Old Time including the likes of the Carter family and Ralph Stanley, Trad British and Irish Folk, Elvis, the Beatles, Slade, T Rex, Oasis, Paolo Nutini, and Ska & Reggae come together to produce a great roots music group.

Maybe not all these influences show up in the Chuffinches sound, but they have had their effect on there music.
